I doubt you've seen any of my stuff Todd, all mechanical.
And the fact that it is all in Ontario.....
Have you ever seen pictures of the new wing to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) called "The Crystal"?
No straight lines, no straight up and down walls, all angles.
It was a nightmare.

Here is a neat time lapse of it being built.
I was there from the first steel being put up until the first roof panel.

Love the video...!

God I love watching that video.
Your my hero!
You can also see DH work if you go into Windsor Casino and go into the restaurant it's all copper and exposed so you can see it. :thumbsup2

Oh - I love the Windsor Casino too - I was sent there for a work conference a few years ago - they kept asking me for ID just to walk into the hotel and go to my room - even decked out in lanyards etc from the conference! :cloud9: The Co-worker I had gone with was only 1 year older than me, and she was not getting asked for ID :rolleyes1

I am a draftsman for a non-residential roofing company. I wonder if I have transposed your work.....:scratchin

Hey Todd,
I work at a roofing company, too! I'm the accountant for my family's company. We do commercial and industrial roofing - no residential, too! What a small world!:goodvibes

Add another to the roofing family here - I am the bookkeeper for a small family owned roofing company - unfortunately for me, I'm not actually family, but I do keep trying to get into the will!

We do about 70% commercial and 27% residential.

I never said I was a good bookkeeper! ;)

I just always wanted a job with 3 double letters in it! :lmao:

I work for a Lumber & Hardware store. We sell some roofing items. But most of the roofing stuff is special orders. I am the Purchasing agent/Inventory Manager. I was outside today doing and inventory count on dimensional lumber today. I was happy that I waited till the last week of the month. It was so nice outside today.   I had on a long pair of shorts a T-shirt and a sweat shirt. :goodvibes The clouds and wind have rolled-in now.

Awesome videos. I  architecture. Modern and classic. There is an over pass here, where an expressway (with its express and local sections, 14 lanes two levels) crosses over a highway (six lanes) and has a bunch of interconnecting bridges. Every time I drive by it, I get goose bumps. Its grey and kinda depressing to some people, but I like it.

We've been doing a lot of stuff out of state, but haven't done anything in Ontario. We did the US embassy in Saudi Arabia a few years back. And stuff in Mexico and Africa.

Well, this just turned into a crappy day!!!

I went to download my pictures from my cruise into my computer and the stupid reader on the printer is not working!!!!

Now I have to go brave Walmart and download them there :scared1:

Sorry guys, you're going to have to wait a little longer for pics!!

Woo Whoo. We re-did the roofs of the post office distribution centers in Fox Hills and Palatine last year and stuff for the Navy in Great Lakes? (I try to turn off the work part of my brain when I am not there.)

Next time I go loose some money to benefit the Canadian First Nations, I will take a pic or two and raise a glass to John.:thumbsup2 It really is a small world.

Which overpass, Todd? When I drive up there it get scary sometimes. I am just not used to all that highway going through the middle of town. I remember when my dad gave me directions for a new way to his house. He forgot one part. Good thing I have a good sense of direction. And know how those weird numbered mile roads work.

I know it's Wednesday (Show is up and Chat is in a few).

Someone please tell me that tomorrow will magically be Friday. Please? The past few days have been rough.

Is there a full moon? They are going absolutely psycho at work. Normally sane people are going nuts. I filed an HR complaint against someone who got abusive to one of my staff. Being mean to me is one thing, I'll put you in your place. You don't mess with my group though.

Can I come work for you? :rotfl:

And we roofed a shopping center in Benton Harbor, MI.
