According to google, one word, I went and checked as I had never thought of it.

I'm an "Interference Draftsman",
I design HVAC, plumbing, elect, etc. for large industrial buildings, hospitals, labs, museums, casinos, etc...
I'm the guy that makes sure everything fits above the ceiling without interfering with other services before installation.

I am a draftsman for a non-residential roofing company. I wonder if I have transposed your work.....:scratchin

Good Evening everyone. No chat for me tonight, Spinning instead.

Have fun.

Hey Todd,
I work at a roofing company, too! I'm the accountant for my family's company. We do commercial and industrial roofing - no residential, too! What a small world!:goodvibes

Someone pages and pages ago (or maybe threads and threads ago) asked what beers were available on tap on the ship. No one here knew the answer. I just found the following post on the DCL Board here - for all of the beer lovers:

Well I guess I will be buying DH a mug as soon as we get on the ship.
He need it. :rotfl2:

So you're the guy who makes sure the hero can sneak into/out of tough spots by ALWAYS USING THE DUCTS!!!:rotfl2: COOL!!!

Hi Alicia, :wave2:

He posted earlier that he was not.

Oh, and the REALLY important thing you missed was a list of the beer available on board the ship.. :thumbsup2

And the new (unoffical) Podcast Cruise shirt!!

I doubt you've seen any of my stuff Todd, all mechanical.
And the fact that it is all in Ontario.....
Have you ever seen pictures of the new wing to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) called "The Crystal"?
No straight lines, no straight up and down walls, all angles.
It was a nightmare.

Here is a neat time lapse of it being built.
I was there from the first steel being put up until the first roof panel.

LOVE BUFFY! :lovestruc Great idea! I want to sit at your table!

Sup Jen!

Why are you drawing ductwork? I didn't know ductwork was one word. Hmmm. Wonder how many times I've missed that one. :headache:

If he wasn't drawing pic's of the ductwork and where and how it is supposed to look he would not have a job.
No Job, No Disney,:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I can't make it through all 60 pages I've missed. Did I miss anything important? Is my husband feeling better? :surfweb:

The only other thing of interest was that another one of us podcast cruisers joined the iPhone crowd.

Add another to the roofing family here - I am the bookkeeper for a small family owned roofing company - unfortunately for me, I'm not actually family, but I do keep trying to get into the will!

We do about 70% commercial and 27% residential.

I never said I was a good bookkeeper! ;)

I just always wanted a job with 3 double letters in it! :lmao:

What's Bejewleled Blitz?

I just checked it out. It's like Sweet Tooth on Pogo.com (if you're familiar with that games website). What I don't like about it though is you only have 1 minute to play. I kinda got bored with it. It's fun for awhile though. Then again, I got bored with FW too (in the beginning) and I can't stay away from it now.

AskTracy

Remember there are no dumb questions people....

I'm listening to the podcast and they're talking about using the KTTW as payment yadda yadda yadda. Anyway, how do the onboard credits and Visa Rewards $$ get used?

Dara:

I'm not AskTracy, but I'll take a stab at your question(s).

It's just like when you check into a resort at WDW and use your KTTW key for charging. You give them the charge card that you want to use and that's what they assign to the KTTW. You can't charge things with anything else other than your KTTW onboard or on Castaway Cay. So, if you want to use a Disney VISA (for example), that's the card you assign to your KTTW. Another example is that we'll probably assign our debit card to the KTTW and I am making prepayments to the shipboard account every couple of weeks now that my cruise is paid off.

I assume if you have a gift card or rewards card, you present that and have the balance added to your onboard account, just like the Dreams credit is. That means that any charges you make will first come out of the Dreams credit and that gift card amount, before rolling to your credit card.

Make sense?

It's actually a very convenient system, but I recommend checking your balance a couple of times as you go. It's really easy to just keep using your KTTW for drinks and such and be quite surprised by the bill amount at the end!

This is correct. If you are using your Disney Rewards, I would not add this to your onboard account until you are onboad. If you do not use all of the money that you put on your account, it will be credited back the way you put it on so you will need that Rewards card.

Basically, your account will be like a checking account. Deposits are made (Dreams credit, Disney Rewards credit, any credit you put on). Charges will be made (excursions, Palo dinner, alcohol, did I mention alcohol?). If the charges exceed the deposits, an "automatic deposit" will be made with your credit card on file. They charge this every few hundred dollars or so.

Just don't start referring to me as AskDodie. I don't want to encroach on AskTracy's turf!:rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao:
