I haven't posted all day...just not in the mood...lots of stuff happening that is not putting me in a good mood right now. I can't really elaborate right now. But just keep us in your thoughts if you don't mind...

Anywho...presentation and paper down...final exam to go! :thumbsup2

Hang in there Brandie! Lean on us if you need too.

First of all, Brandie...

Secondly, Kathy, you mentioned Hoboken. I love Hoboken. My BFF's niece used to live there and we would visit once or twice a year. Perfect spot for a New York City trip, in and out of the city with ease, very nice city to walk up and down the main drag and people watch, shop, eat, etc. I am laughing out loud at you feeling Cougar-ish there because my BFF and I were obviously quite older than her young, hip niece, but the niece insisted on taking us into all of the hot spots. I can relate.

Gee thanks Todd...I think?

I went out to dinner Friday night at this ever so trendy restaurant in Hoboken, NJ. OMG, I could have been the monther of some of the cuties in this place.

You mean you don't KNOW?!? Man, Kathy, yer WILD!!! :rotfl2:

Actually I didn't see her - DH had already cut himself off from his family (decided it was best for our DD). I kinda made him go see her - thinking he would regret it if he didn't. It was unpleasant for both of them I think. He tried.

Oh OK - I really wasn't as close to my MIL as my husband was, but I made sure that he visited her as much as possible in the last few weeks - even though he spent as much time as possible w/her, I know he feels it still wasn't enough

Ok, I need an opinion from the shoe experts!!!!

Here is the dress I just bought for 'dress up' night: The dress is pink.

I'm thinking either white or silver shoes. Which do you think would be better?

My vote is for white shoes.

Hoboken is certainly the spot for the young, hip and happening. If I were 20 years younger, I'd be moving there in a heartbeat. I will say, the view from Lua was stunning. We had a shot straight across the river to the Empire State Building and the moejeetoes were great!

How are they doing Jen? Any better?

Ethan is a mess. I keep pumping him with meds and liquids. He refuses to eat anything. I'm starting to get worried and may take him to the doctors in the morning if he doesn't improve.

Evan is teething, so his fever is easily explained (and the drool reaching down to his toes). He seems to be in a good spirit, just not himself.

Hi! Do I need to come over there and give you a kick in the @ss? I knew that would make you smile. Don't worry, I got your back.

Does anyone else argue with their significant other over the temp of the house? I try to be conservative in this area to save $$ (I'm the one paying the light bill after all). DH is constantly fiddling with the thermostat to crank up the heat. I keep it at 68*. He turns it up to 74 all the time. (Thank god he works during the day and is oblivious (mostly) at night.) As soon as I notice it's getting warm, I realize he's tampered with it and I turn it back down though. Anyway, it's 80* in here today. What do you think he's gonna try and do when he gets home from work? Yep. He's gonna ***** and moan and want to turn on the AC. I think not! (This laptop on my lap makes it feel like 90* in here!) It's suppose to get cold again by Wednesday night/ Thursday morning. He can stick it out. The other night he cranked the heat up to 85 and went to bed. What a *******. What did I do? I turned it down to 65 and continued watching my tv. :lmao:So, does anyone else have the same battle at home?

Yes DH and I have the same problem only reversed.
I like the temp at 74 no higher no lower.
DH wants it to be at 67-68.
To me that is cold.

No, I'm old!

Aw (kicks dirt), I knew whatcha meant... I was only tryin' a play on words... Like you weren't sure whether or not you had a kid in the room...

Old is only in the mind... Ask Susan...

Did I just say that?!? :scared1: :rolleyes1

Stick a banana in the freezer and let him suck/gnaw on it. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Um, no. He hasn't had any "food" yet and you don't do that unless the banana is in one of those mesh thingies so he doesn't accidentally get a chunk of it and choke on it.

I am afraid of choking so much I still cut my son's hot dogs. He is well over 4.

Um, sorry. That's what the pediatricians always recommended.

Hey Gang,

I was just looking over many pictures from Mousefest. I couldn't help but laugh at some of them. It seems like whenever I need a good laugh and a smile I turn to the Mousefest photos.

Looking forward to seeing all of you guys in May! :goodvibes
