I have a question for veteran Disney cruisers, or Ask Tracy! :)

Do lines form often at the deck 9 drink station? If so, how long? Are there any other places on the ship where you can get drink refills?

I never saw a line at the drink refill station. It is self serve Aaron. Just like the drink stations at the resorts. There are multiple dispensers. I've maybe had to wait behind one person, that's it.

Nope. It's like a pod of dispensers. Just like in a resort foodcourt. There may be a crowd sometimes (like on sea day if the weather's nice and everyone's up on deck), but it's not a big deal.

DH is writing a paper. He wants me to come up with a title. It is his life story. He managers a grocery store, but calls himself a bag boy. Anyone got any good, creative titles for me that I can claim as my own????

"Clean up, aisle 4"

Thanks Kim & Dodie! :thumbsup2

very few lines.

Unfortunately the water slide is only for kids. No adults allowed. :sad2:

I think they should open up the slide to adults at certain times - like at the pool when they have adult swim times - because I want to go down it!!!!! It's not fair that they kids get a slide and not the adults!!!!! :yay:

Crusing = Pigging out :lmao:

We could have an all you can eat contest...

Who can eat the most chocolate, lobstah, mickey waffles, etc.

:rotfl:

Sadly, I think I'd do very well and finish in the top 5. :rolleyes1

Well, I believe I can take the first 4 places....:thumbsup2

Thirsty already, Aaron???

I did mention this to one of the lifeguards at the Mickey pool. She said that the slide was not made to support adults, only children. I don't know if that is true or not though.

Yea...Well, I'm trying to visualize everything in my head and anticipate what may or may not happen. I can't help it....I think I'm a right-brained kind of person.

No sliding?

Shucks.

ADP, I guess we will have to do that at the Beach Club before the cruise.

Hey, we could go down the slide after we consume the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream. :lmao:

I rode the water slide on my last Carnival cruise. It's too bad that Aaron won't be able to go on it. :sad2:

Sinks cannot fit down the Storm-A-Long slide! Oh! And I've been accused of being a kid by my family and friends....Does that count? Can I use the Wonder slide?

Give me a hand.

Nice pic!

Oh I can't wait to take the boys there. :thumbsup2

Thanks Katherine. At this level there is a lot of politics involved in the selection process. Unfortunately that is not a strength of mine. I'm more of a blunt instrument than a politician. I'll do my best and hope for a positive outcome. :goodvibes

Lucky for me being blunt is a plus for my job.:goodvibes

I didn't realize you could just sign your kids up.

Yeah they have a mini muddy buddy.

I'd feel more comfortable if he just carried me!

:rotfl:

No say it ain't so.!!!

I have been on 6 cruises before and adults have been able to go down the slide. None of my cruises have been Disney. I don't understand why they would make it so adults can't go down the slide.:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Congrats on 5000 Jen!:cool1:

Welcome to the cruise thread Chris!!:goodvibes

I definately qualify as a kid. Everyone thinks so.

Do they have a Belly Flop contest on the cruise? :lmao:

I surely would win that. :cool1:

I was on the Freedom in January. I loved the slide!:goodvibes

I think its due to guest demand! :rotfl2:

I wanted to go down the slide with Ginny, but I guess that won't happen. :sad2:

Oh, well.

We could have a food fight on deck. <Hmm that idea has merit.>

I will probably be very toned down on this cruise, but I can be pushed over the edge. :cool1:

You are probably right Don. The Mickey pool area created for the younger kids. The family pool is for everyone and then there is the adult pool. It would have been nice if they had put the slide at the family pool for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully they will do this on the new ships.

By the way, I did hear a bit of a scoop about the new ships on cruise critic. :)
