I think they should open up the slide to adults at certain times - like at the pool when they have adult swim times - because I want to go down it!!!!! It's not fair that they kids get a slide and not the adults!!!!!
I did mention this to one of the lifeguards at the Mickey pool. She said that the slide was not made to support adults, only children. I don't know if that is true or not though.
It's actually due to how the slide ends. If you put someone heavier on the slide, they will get hurt at the end. There's not a long ending or a drop in the water at the end, it is a wall.

You are probably right Don. The Mickey pool area created for the younger kids. The family pool is for everyone and then there is the adult pool. It would have been nice if they had put the slide at the family pool for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully they will do this on the new ships.
By the way, I did hear a bit of a scoop about the new ships on cruise critic.
