It might be worth a shot. These people are probably hoping to get it for a song and a dance just because it's been on the market for a while. If you make one counter offer you will find out what their game is.

What would really stink for them is if you were willing to take 50,000 less than what you were asking, and they only offered 20,000 less. They could have saved another 30,000. They might just be seeing how low you are willing to go. It would stink for you if they would be willing to pay a lot more, and you didn't counter offer and let them walk away. Never hurts to try.

You don't need an umbrella for the cruise. If it is raining when we are in port, you can go to Guest Services and they will have complementary rain ponchos for you.

Do we need to take birth certificates on the cruise? I've got a friend telling me to take both a passport and birth certificate.

Just Passport. I guard my birth certificate much more than my Passport. My Passport at least has a photo on it. If someone got ahold of your birth certificate I can't even imagine what they could do.
