grrr....I like that I'm still young enough to be cougared ;)

If I don't have to be your wife, we may be able to reach an agreement. ;)
(I'm a better GF than wife. I don't share well.)

It's really not too bad being another wife. We just let wife #1 have him all the time. No need to share...lol

Is that the thing 'that comes from Germany, and they make good things, so you know its got to be good'? With the cheesy young pitch dude?

I didn't catch the Germany part but it has the "cheesy young pitch dude". That thing is cool!
I want one! :yay:

So bank robbery chase....

I was 18ish and just finished using the walk up ATM at my local bank located in a small strip shopping center. I went back to my car, locked the doors and was listening to the radio and putting my stuff away in my purse when this blonde haired man walks in front of my car at an unusually fast pace, with his hand stuck inside his inner leather jacket pocket. He walked about 10 cars down and I almost said forget it, but it just was too weird. I saw his car back out of the parking spot and his license plate was bent over in half. Now this peaked my interest so I backed out and followed him.

I know, but I was really young and stupid.

Anyways, he was flying down the highway and I was keeping pace until I noticed I was doing 130. I decided to slow a bit but was still going really fast when I saw him take the exit for the interstate. When I caught up, he was pulled over on the side of the exit on the shoulder. I kept my head straight, but eyed the make and model of the car. I pulled over on the interstate, but he never went past. On my way home I spotted the police helicopter and when I got home I called the grocery store to ask if they were robbed? They said no, so I called the bank next door. Finally I got through to the FBI and since I lived right down the street, agreed to ID the person I followed. It was nuts! I was rushed in like in the movies with a coat over my head to protect my identity, explained everything that happened. I saw the surviellance video too. The FBI took me out the back of the bank and into an unmarked car and drove the route I took less than an hour ago. It was decided that when he pulled over on the shoulder he crossed the grass and went the opposite way (tire tracks). The guy threatened the teller saying he had a gun and would come back to hurt her and her family.

This is a true story.:)

Wow Unbelievable! Great story

Why did the crew pick this particular cruise? Or did they even say? I can't remember.

DD has discovered these commercials with this dude. She thinks we need everything they put out. Thankfully I have the Pampered Chef version already.

Although when I first read I want a Slap Chop I thought it was the punch line from a pig joke.

TOTALLY OT (but what isn't on this thread), but I'm working from home today (still doing a little R and R trying to get back on my feet) and I've had HBO on. I just caught a really cute movie. I definitely think it wasn't a hit. It's a chick flick for sure. I remember seeing the previews. But it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Very cute. A little unpredicatable.

It's called "Definitely, Maybe." I had no idea who that Isla Fisher was who's in "Confessions of a Shopaholic," but she was in this too. And Ryan Reynolds. Isn't he the one that's married to Scarlett Johanson? And Kevin Kline! I love Kevin Kline. Who knew?

Anyway, mindless entertainment, but more than I expected this afternoon.

Carry on.

Why did the crew pick this particular cruise? Or did they even say? I can't remember.

I believe there were a few reasons.
1. The price point for this cruise was more reasonable since it wasn't during summer break when kids were out of school and families would be likely to book.

2. May is a good time to book because it's outside the window of hurricane season. typically the weather is much better

3. No matter what time of year they booked it wasn't going to fit everyone's schedule. Some people would still be disappointed.

These are the reasons I recall. Any others?

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm leaving in two days for the Princess 1/2 Marathon. I'll tell Cinderella y'all said hi! I'm so excited. There really is something on these boards for everyone.

I listened to the Podcast the other day, and I'll admit I do other things while it's on, but what's this about something being wrong with Will???? I totally don't remember anything about that, and I've got so much to do today that I can't go back, so could someone please tell me what happened?! I hope he's okay.

It was in today's podast, not last week's, and at the very beginning. They announced that Will was no longer with Dreams because family matters had made it necessary for him to leave Orlando and return home to Indianapolis.
