Hello all

I have recovered from night shift and driven 30 minutes each way to mark 2 check marks and vote for my raise. Again. On my way home I saw something that made me think of a few of you. The transport behind me through downtown was carrying 2 large guns. I didn't notice until I turned off and glanced in the rear view. And no - I have no idea what they were - I am lucky to recognize them as guns!

off to catch up now!

I thought Canada was a peaceful democracy. From that all I can envision is a picture of a Stalin-esque parade of heavy artillery following you up Main Street, ONT.

I just liked that image...Ya know..since we were talking Michael Jackson. I guess I'm too right-brained. I do everything with images and pictures.

Aren't all us fellas? I always need visuals :crowded:

I think I still have my pleather black and red jacket with 10 zipper pockets somewhere!

I REALLY wish I still had the parachute pants I had from grade school/junior high... it was unbelievable how many zippers a pair of pants can actually have

I know we just met, but I just hit a somewhat personal goal that I am proud of. As my screenname betrays, I am a musician and majored in piano in college. That meant an average of 4 hours a day in a tiny practice room exercising my mind and fingers, but little else. After graduation, I let loose and partied hard, with lots of abuse to my body and weight gained. With the podcast cruise coming up, I decided to train to be a runner as a new year's resolution. My hope is a Disney marathon someday.

Yesterday, I hit 25 minutes, 2.25 miles of non-stop jogging, and I hit a goal on the scale:

:cool1: :wishtwenty :cool1:

I remember how tough that first day was having to jog 60 seconds!

I missed the end of six and the beginning of seven, but I'm here now. Hello everyone.:wave2:

I'm back at work after spending the whole weekend under the weather. I'm still not 100% I don't think, but a bagel and some hot tea tasted good this morning so I seem to be back on track.

Glad you are on the mend!

Stay warm all you east coasters -- think of tropical breezes on a mild spring day...:sunny:

:wave2:
Good morning everyone! :wave2:

I'm watching Aristocats with my 2 year old. She is not feeling well. She woke up this morning with a temp of 103.3. :( My poor sweetie.

For all of you who got snow, stay safe!

Hope she feels better soon!

I feel pretty.
Oh, so pretty.
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
And I pity
Any girl who isn't me tonight.

:lmao:

We have reserves here. A few years back I lived not too far from there, and in the middle of the afternoon, the Platoon (?) was out on a march with full gear. The quiet residential street kind of wrapped around the house - our apt. was the top floor. IT SCARED the BEJEESUS out of me to hear that coming. Now, to see the transport - neh - no worries (at least until they ship out - then I worry for them!)

I think I still have my pleather black and red jacket with 10 zipper pockets somewhere!

The bellydance costume I just finished making was black pleather and red satin. :rolleyes1 The song I have chosen is a little, alternative...

I have an hour to sew before school is out - I will check in again later...
I only have 3 weeks until the costumes must be ready!

Wow. Congrats. There is someone looking into doing a DIS marathon weekend charity event. All levels, from 5K up to the Full Marathon. Watch for more news as its announced.

And we are friends that just haven't met yet. No worries.:grouphug:

I'll take one for the team and wear it.

OK, Aaron - you rule!! You win the award for the most obscure yet most appropriate smilie find!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I used my cooler over the weekend. The one I am planning on as a carry on for the plane and the ship. It worked well. However, when I was putting it in the backseat, I remembered someone giving the dimensions for carry ons to the ship. 14x12x9 (or something close). The cooler is roughly 14" in each way. Is this going to be a problem? Will I have to choose another carry on and forgo my snazzy cooler?:sad1: Say it ain't so. Please, say it ain't so.

22"x14"x9". George said so. You'll be fine.:goodvibes

Still waiting on the house cleaning to EWF video...

Like.....ON, maybe?????:scared1: :rotfl2:
