I have tried every imginary scenerio to rearrange me and Genes work schedule but no matter what I do I would loose 2 grand in pay plus the cost of the cruise so I just can do it. It totally sucks.

Jen I do. Buy the book potty train your child in a day. IT WORKS. I trained Ethan in a week.

Oh, I didn't realize that about Southwest tomorrow. I guess I better get my credit card out.

On the potty training, I think every kid is different. We basically had our son to the point where he didn't want to do it in the diaper, but didn't want to go in the potty either. That was a really fun couple of weeks. We really forced the issue because we had signed him up for preschool where we needed to bed potty trained. If your son doesn't care about going in his underwear then I think it is pretty hard.

Um, you live 5 minutes from me.... can I borrow it. HA! Better yet, I'm sending my Ethan over your house.

Someone from my playgroup took it and never gave it back. The basic concept is to have a potty party day. That is all you do. Only potty dvd's on the tv and start out the day with a new doll (we used Diego) as the party gift. Me and Ethan potty trained Diego until mid morning. "look Ethan Diego has to go potty" fake him out by squirting water in the potty with a little doll bottle.(dont let him see you squirt it in the potty) Let him empty the potty. I also made underpants for Diego by cutting up a pair of his cars undies to make some for the doll. Make sure the doll has accidents and tell them that is not good. I used tootsie rolls for the poo. Then in the afternoon reverse rolls. They train together. Keep asking Ethan if he has to go with the doll. Then by the end of the day they are actually doing something in the potty. Keep it up for a few days. I also used dollar store junk for the prize box for doing his deed on the potty. Ethan was so into winning the toys and candy that he was trained in 1 weeks time day and night. Oh and it said do not use pull ups or it wont work. I bought one pack for night time and after a week he refused to wear them. Let me know if you have any quesitons about the book. It was so easy and stress free.

Yep, just getting ready for MouseFest!

Printed out the boarding pass, put all the device chargers in the carry-on, downloading some tunes on my iPod, printing out the list of phone numbers...I doubt I'll sleep tonight!
