I have a problem meeting the expectations of my family. I stopped trying a long time ago...no excuses, this is me, and this is what I do.

And I stopped having expectations for my family. It is what it is, and I'm happier.

Good Lord we have some of the same family members! They are type that work every single day of their lives and then drop dean having done nothing, but work. You've both worked hard and can well afford to take the cruise. Why should anyone question it? Personally, if this is going to become a family mini-drama, don't say anything till you get ready to leave. Why listen to 5 months of grief? We're here to share the excitement with you.

Meh, y'all are probably right. I already get enough guff from the Disney art, pins, figures, and Christmas trees...Who cares what they think? Laissez bontemps roullez!

The only one that remotely understands it is my Goddaughter. She is enamored with everything relating to a Disney princess. Too bad Uncle Todd loves the baddies. I'd bring her but my sister would flip for her to miss school. And then I would feel bad about leaving the rest of my nieces and nephews behind.

NY is freezing!

They wouldn't understand if we just went on a cruise....let alone try to explain who it was with.
I know from previous experience. Mum went on a Harley Cruise last year, and everyone in the family treated her like she had the plague and lost her marbles.
But they might understand it a bit better if it was a gift?

heck, i am bringing my parents with me.....we've all lost our marbles!

but i know, when i try an explain to folks that this is a 'special' podcast cruise, they look at me like i have 5 arms growing out back.

Jen- yes the perks are nice.....i am now almost fully recovered from my laser treatment, all nice and fresh baby soft skin like a 20 year old!


oh and my new laptop arrived yesterday, maybe i can actually try and chat tomorrow now!

Jen- yes the perks are nice.....i am now almost fully recovered from my laser treatment, all nice and fresh baby soft skin like a 20 year old!

The podcast sealed the deal.
I am traveling with my dear friend Kristen- also a diser
Between the two of us we have 7 kids- all of whom we are leaving home-
Happy mothers day to us!
