I thought about going to the midnight showing tonight, but DH wouldn't go with me...and seeing a movie about vampires, no matter how hot they may be, would freak me out all by my little lonesome... Plus I have to work tomorrow! I'll probably go tomorrow night with DH!

When I worked full time, I loved wearing hot shoes to work, but as soon as I walked in the door I was kickin' them to the side. Not that they hurt, but I really don't like wearing shoes. Give me a pair of flips any day, or just go barefoot, and I'm a happy girl. I loved Aldos to!

The best was when i got one of those chain letters, but for flip flops. I got 6 random pair in the mail. It was awesome!

Have we conversed before about China adoptions??? My mind is a blank most days...no comments from the peanut gallery either...

Anywho, I noticed in your signature that you have 3 girls from China! Your hands must be full!

Hi Brandie! I noticed your signature too! No, we have not talked about it-
My girls are 5, 8 and 14. Our first adoption was Grace- she is now 8, was 13 months at adoption and is from Jiangxi province. Katie was our second, now 5yo she is from Shaanxi province (near terra-cotta warriors) Megan has been with us just 2 years this month- we adopted her at 12 years old, she has some significant special needs- had one (of two) major surgeries last Feb. at Cincinnati childrens, about a 9hr drive from Rochester NY where we live. Anyway- getting off track, she is from Shanghai- may have medical issues but a very NORMAL teenager - the good, bad and ugly.
So yes, we are very busy- with two little ones and three teenagers my days look much like this and this I get very little of this
Hence the mom only cruise
Kristen BTW also has two girls from China- ages 4 and 8- adopted as a single person- We will have to be sure and meet up on the cruise, I know we both love to talk about our girls and experiences in China- I will post a picture when I am home and can figure out how to do so on the board!
Sorry things are moving so slowly for you- but it will happen!
