As long as it won't be tomorrow. Short day. Going to the Piazza di Bocci for another holiday thing. Leaving around 11:30 I think. Then we go home from there...open bar... Tomorrow I am car pooling to work.

Flying out of DTW or Toronto?

Flying out of Buffalo. The cost out of Toronto would probably be around $1400 so that's not even an option. Detroit is 4 hours away so that's not really an option for us either.

We love southwest and hopefully the rates will come down. Right now for the flights that we'd want it's $109 going down and $129 coming home. We can wait a bit for the flights.

Not a problem. Where abouts is Rochester Hills?? I went to school in Windsor so I do know a bit around Detroit. Loved the fireworks on the river that were held every July for Canada Day and 4th of July! They were awesome.

North of Detroit. East of Pontiac. About a half an hour drive from Lake St. Clair.
I love the fact that we have international freedom fireworks. I have relatives in Perry Sound that came down one year. It was extra special then.
