I spent the entire time with my iPod in my ear...listening to Eclipse (for the 2nd time)...and looking at my knees so I didn't have to look at the road ahead of us. I hate driving in the snow, but I also hate riding while someone else is driving in the snow. I can't slow way down or hit the brakes and just go slow...freaks me out...
Good morning all. Sorry you had to go in Brandie. I'm working from home today. Thank goodness. DH had to get up at 5:00 a.m. to snowblow the driveway and half of the alley so he could get out to go to work.
We didn't get nearly what y'all got, but it still made for some stoopid drivers. One yahoo raced by me only to wind up in the ditch a quarter mile up the road.
I ended up with about 4" in snow and from the sound on the windows it's changed over to sleet. I heading into work late. I really don't need to be there til 10:30AM. I dread cleaning the truck off.
So I was looking at flights again yesterday...if I were to fly down Friday evening, I could go non-stop for $40 less and be there a half a day earlier....decisions, decisions.

Oh my gosh- should'nt even be a decision- go for it! I ended up paying airtran's $75 fee after I decided that 5:30 was just too late to get there on Saturday, am now arriving at 11am- hmmmm thats more than $10 per hour extra at the dolphins pool- Well worth it!

I think the depart time is around 7:00pm, so it'd be too late for dinner. My thought is that it would be nice to be able to sleep in one day of vacation. Otherwise I would have to be at the airport for a 5:55am flight on Saturday morning... ...I think the Friday night is looking better all the time....
