I'm so confused. I'm going to try to explain myself and if this doesn't work, we can take it offline sometime when you aren't swamped.

We want to be "with the Podcast group." I understand that the entire group's reservations are linked in a way as a group so that we would likely be sitting with podcast folks regardless. My question is, within that group, would it be possible for those of us who choose to be seated together at a table and on the same rotation to choose to do so? I'm talking about 3 or 4 families, i.e., ADP and family, crazydisneyman and family, Dodie (& Phillip), maybe others if there's room and they want to do so.

I'm guessing there are others who would want to do this too and I thought that's what you meant when you mentioned linking reservations.

Hey mainegal,

Cliques only become cliques because someone took the first step. Unless we talking about familes (who are stuck with each other) most of the folks at the TSM Meet met for the first time at Mousefest.

I havent found a single poster here or in real life to be exclusionary...in fact it seemed that they might have been grabbing strangers at one point.

Next time.....find Aaron (ADP) or Alicia (Cocowum) or Brandie (Scarlet###...I'm sorry Brandie I can never remember the number part) or any number of people or even the Podcast team and we will be happy to assign you to a clique. Just keep in mind the old saying "be careful what you wish for". You can even find Don (dpucknumbernumber) and have him hum his Spiderman / Copier music.

I'm joking...but in all seriousness....take the first step and you will see how friendly we can be

The way that they let us link in the past we could definitely do this. I have heard there were some changes in the dining area last August so I'm not sure how they will allow us to do this in May. The way we did it in the past is we were given tables a-k and told how many people each table would sit and then we would say Dodie & ADP go on table a, crazydisneyman & Scarlette go on table b, winotracy is out of the restaurant, etc. so we would be able to not only sit in the same section of the restaurant but also would be able to sit with who we want to.

Now before anyone says anything. You should not have a bunch of people (more than will fit on one table) and say you will float between tables. In other words you can't say the Indiana people have 20 people so we'll give them three tables and they can sit where they want every night. I believe this is allowed (especially with smaller groups where there is one group of 20 people for a family reunion and they want to put the adults at one table and kids at another but all in one group). The problem with this is the service you will receive (or not receive). One of the best things about cruising is that you have the same server who gets to know you right away. They will remember how you like your steak cooked, what you drink with dinner, everything about your eating and drinking habits. When you switch tables, even if you have the same server, this will make things more difficult on them and the service will not be as good.

Next Tuesday is Paczki Day!!! The king of donuts!!! I can't wait. I'm thinking of taking a half day and driving to Hamtramck and standing in line for three hours to buy two (one for me, one for DP). Well that and I'll be up late on Monday night with the booking window opening.
