That is what I assume. I booked at midnight for our last cruise and their computer system is pretty annoying. It can't seem to handle more than 10 people at a time.

Yea, disney websites are horrible. Whoever is in charge of IT out there should be fired.

So I posted my woes last night about not being able to get DH to extend our stay after the cruise so that we could do the safari. Last night he seemed to want no part of it whatsoever...

I mention the thought of renting points. Told him the arrangement that I could make with Jen's assistance and his interest seemed peaked.

He wants no part of staying as cheaply as possible...even though it's one heck of a deal for a deluxe resort.


He wants me to book the concierge level...


He's so much like Paul that it's funny. I look for the cheap deals...and he speaks deluxe all the way...

I tried to convince Paul to switch our 2 week AKV concierge stay to POP after we received our free dining pin. The poor man almost had a heart attack!!!

DH and I are having a conversation right now about this...lol...he said that he'd rather splurge and have a nice luxury one week vacation than to do a cheap 2 week vacation...he saw his opportunity to get a room that would normally cost us (since we're not DVC members...yet...) $500 a night for much, much less so he jumped at the chance.

If we don't end up eventually purchasing DVC soon, I think he'll be sold on renting points from now on...

So you are going the rent route now? Let me know how that works out for you, please. I am sure the DVC Member you are renting from will be a sweetheart....but I want to know about how the DVC treats you.
