Not sure about DH, George but there are no worries about the cruise. I'm planning accordingly so I'm prepared whatever he decides. I was even thinking about making one of you guys ride with me to the port so I wouldn't have to do it alone!

Thanks, Tracy. I just looked. I can't believe that I made my reservation for this cruise in January of 2008.

I booked in January of 09 and I am having trouble waiting. I don't know how you early bookers did it.

I'm in the same quandary for next December. We took a road trip around florida last xmas so of course we drove. We are in Disney for 2 weeks this year and I asked the kids what they wanted to do. All 3 of them want to drive. It is nice to bring so much more stuff when gone that long and not have to get a rental car, but its about 20 hrs for us from the great state of Michigan.

We drove two times and stopped in Savannah both times. Worked out great- then just 5 hrs or so to WDW gate the next morning!
It is about 24 hours for us from western NY- not too bad on the way there, but driving home is always painful!

Fuel Supplement Information

Hey everyone, I have been getting a lot of inquiries about fuel supplement charges. So I wanted to give you guys some information about this. It has been a hot topic this week on the cruise forums.

The majority of you did not pay a fuel supplement. In general, if your reservation number has a GRP number after the reservation number, you did not pay a fuel supplement. If you initially booked your reservation before May 27, 2008 or after December 1, 2008, you do not have a fuel supplement. If you were one of the very few who did get charged a fuel supplement, we will know next Thursday if the fuel supplement will be required for our cruise. If it is not, those few of you who did pay, will receive a fully refundable onboard credit in the amount of the fuel supplement. This means if you do not spend the onboard credit, you will receive a refund.

My parents are unintentionally going to be on this cruise. They don't listen to the podcast but they are huge disney fans Just wondering if any of the scheduled DIS Unplugged events are going to interrupt the normal disney cruise events?

I'm sure he's not the first. There are a few older shows that show all these contraptions people used to try and use to go over. Pretty sure that stopped years ago.

I've only been to the Falls once and that was to meet up with a Toronto trooper to pick up a snowmobile. I believe the Canadians call them snow machines.

No we refer to them as a snowmobile.

No events have been announced yet, but the team has said they plan to coordinate events so we can enjoy the cruise (not over doing it). Are they booked through Dreams Unlimited?
