I always bring lots of luggage. I can't help myself.

I'm really not looking forward to packing for our June trip. 5 people and 1 of them is an infant. That means baby food and formula and diapers and wipes, and bottles, and we ll you get the idea.:laundy:

If you're nuts, then I am just as batty, Yvette. I just want to wander around for a bit. Soak up some of the culture. Even if it is people trying to hock cheap trinkets. Whenever I go someplace new, I thoroughly enjoy just roaming around for a little bit. There's just stuff that you won't see on a tour or if you go to the typical tourist spots.

You are so right (yeah duhuh)....

Except from castaway Cay we have never been to the Bahama's and we think that a new place has to be discovered.
We are planning to wander around a bit and go see someplaces that are typical Bahamian or just Historical places.

I can't even imagine. How do you do bottles and baby food?

I agree too Todd and Yvet. We plan on strolling the market just to say we did and get back on the ship for some relaxing drinks by the pool.

It just takes up so much space. We are considering driving just to have everything we need with us, but the thought of driving with a 6, 3, and 9month old from Delaware isn't very appealing.

At least it will be relaxing when you get there. :cheer2:

That does sound like a catch 22.

You got that right.

Flying is so fast that no one really has time to get cranky. Driving we have everything we need and can do it through the night so most of them are asleep. Flying expensive for 5 so it's cheaper if we drive, but the thought of it scares me to death!

In 2007, we drove with a 9 year old, 7 year old, 2 year old and a 7 month old. It was fantastic. We spent 51 hours in the car (total) and out of the 51 hours, only 15 minutes of it was noisy. It was really a lovely drive... my hubby and I had a lot of quality time together to talk.

One word: Portable DVD player.

Okay, that's 3 words.
