First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise, 11th and Final Thread

OK.... so.... I recall vaguely on some podcast far far away, that there was a woman that asked the question I wanted to know the answer to... so you'd *think* I'd have paid attention, right? Dang it.

On the cruise, is it in bad taste to hand your camera to the on-board photographers? Like we do with the Photopass guys?? Or is that considered just too tacky for words?? :confused3

This day flew by. :scared1:

I like to do Sunday dinner and it's getting late. Need to slice up and prep some pork chops. :)

Even though the day flew by, other than last minute things for our checked luggage and packing carry-ons, Deb and I are both packed! :cool1: I hope the cabins have enough hangers.

Alicia just laid out SOME of the shoes she's bringing! :sad2:

I'm bringing those exact same lime green crocs with me. :rotfl:

In the character lines, there is usually a cast member next to the photographers that offer to hold your purse or whatever, and they usually offer to take a picture. I don't think they let you take your own pictures w/ the formal backgrounds.

This is correct. Like the lifestyles backgrounds (I know the white one is one of these). Pictures with characters though, the captain, no problem.

Thanks, guys.... now at least I won't be totally embarassing myself.

Oh, and i'm bringing those same lime green crocs with me too...lol.. but MANY less pairs of shoes..... sneakers, green crocs, 3x flip flops and 1 pair strappy low heeled sandals. That's it.

Guess I need to start packing.... TheBigGuy has informed me that he wants three SETS of bags packed... one for the 2 days prior to the cruise, one for the cruise.. one for the week after the cruise...... i don't know if I HAVE that much luggage! Sheesh.

I just bought my step-daughter the same pink Mikey Mouse crocs for her birthday. :) I hope she likes them.

I have no idea how many shoes I am bringing. Probably 2 pairs of flips flops, a pair of shoes for dinner and my Mary Jane Mickey Mouse Crocs.

I am really far behind on my list of things to do... yet, I am sitting here. Derrrr.

Take THAT, Hugh!!! :lmao:

Ironing here as well. Btw - I'll have the BEST version (Colin Firth, Jennifer Ehle) in Blu Ray on the cruise with me, btw, Kat... ;)

I love the A&E/BBC version best. Colin Firth was the best Darcy.

Does anyone know if they sell the Twilight book and New moon book in a smaller paperback version? I want to re-read them on the cruise but I dont feel like having to take the hardcover versions I have from home

They do sell a small (regular) size paperback version of Twilight. (I have this one for travel.) :rolleyes1

I there any other Mr. Darcy?!?! I think not!!!!! :goodvibes

Hi Katherine! Glad you didn't get hurt on that treadmill. That was pretty funny. :rotfl2:

Make sure you outfit that vest with bottle and can holders. We might need them. Just sayin'. :woohoo:

I thought it was funny, so I thought I would share. :)

The bottle & can openers will have to be bought down there.
The airport would probably take them.
:rotfl2:

I have only seen the small Twilight. I saw it at Sam's.

Great Nicole, thanks for asking! It was in Columbus, OH. They finished 2nd. This was like the Super Bowl of competitions for the year. It was the last one (thank god) and now they start the off season, training and working on tumbling fundimentals.

Hi Alicia  My wife Kim wants to know if you are really bringing all those shoes? If so, she's pulling out the bigger suitcase. ;)
