Hi Alicia  My wife Kim wants to know if you are really bringing all those shoes? If so, she's pulling out the bigger suitcase. ;)

Yep Aaron, They are already packed(in my carry on).:thumbsup2
Paul's going to flip out when he sees the size of my carry on. I don't trust those people with my shoes. ;)
Tell Anna congrats! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Yawn.

Flatties laminated. I dislike the flatties laminated. I should have just made them on sturdier stuff. They're too shiny, and have edges, and I don't think they can BREATHE in there...

Oh, and GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!! :dance3:

so behind on reading. So what are the dimensions of a "flattie"?:confused3

I broke down and bought Twilight to take with me. Anyone read this? :lmao:

:thumbsup2 Trust me, BFF, you'll like it, even if you are skeptical. I was skeptical too-as I am not 14 years old (the target audience).

My clothes and shoes are all out on the couch now. I told Phillip that I had a packing spreadsheet to make sure that I didn't overpack - was able to mix and match my stuff, etc. Instead of being impressed, he just looked at me, rolled his eyes, and said "Of COURSE you do."

He will pack on Friday night in 45 minutes. I will have 4 lists going and have been thinking for months about what I'm taking. He'll end up with everything he needs and I will be the one who forgets something. :upsidedow

Since I missed the listing of the shoes earlier, I'll tell you that I have my water shoes, black sandals, white sandals, casual sandals, and my sneakers.

I love the A&E/BBC version best. Colin Firth was the best Darcy.
Austen lover here as well. Pride and Prejudice is one of my top three favorite books. Colin Firth *IS* Mr. Darcy. Dodie is Team Darcy all the way. :)

Hugh Jackman = :lovestruc for me too. I've loved him since Kate & Leopold. THAT is the Hugh Jackman I love though. That and the Broadway Hugh Jackman. I am NOT a Wolverine fan. However, learning about his state of undress might influence me to have to check it out. ;) Phillip gives me a hard time about my Hugh infatuation...he too calls him "Huge Jackman."

Of course they were robbed.
I will Mindy. Thanks! :)

Poor Paul. Go easy on him Alicia...We need him for the Muddy Buddy. ;) And I don't blame you for not trusting anyone else with your shoes....Also, don't trust anyone with that Muddy Buddy sign. It's priceless!
I'll tell Anna! :)

Ok ....Just back from atlantic city, NJ for the All-Level Championship cheerleading competition :cheer2:after 2 days in the rain and 1,000 cheerleaders man do I need a cocktail :lmao:...now to think about the crusie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just signed a Parents concent and release form god forbid if anything happens to my kids while we are away:sad2:. I really wanted to fill this out because on Friday to Sunday my daughter is in Hershey Pa for her last cheerleading competition :cheer2:which we'll miss due to the cruise....oh well :dance3: LOL!!

think that would be enough for one night!!!

DH just took out the garbage and said "last time I have to take the garbage out before vacation".:banana::banana:

Alicia is officially in the "to excited to sleep" mode. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Excited from the sleep or the Hugh Jackman sighting?

One week from now Alicia will have already been at the port for a few hours!! :sad2:

But she will have me to keep her company!! You and I can greco roman wrestle in the terminal to help pass the time!

I just wanted to publicly thank all of you for all the kind words and sentiments throughout this whole process. I haven't had a chance to respond to all the posts, PMs and emails about what I call "Just doing my job". Thank you all for making this more fun. I can't wait to meet all of you either at the airport (Spaddy?), at the Poly, on the bus or on the ship.

Thanks Tracy! Ya know, I just think of you as a friend that is helping me out with my cruise. I sometimes forget its your job. That means you are great at it.

Is that a helmet shoe I see in the back? :rotfl2:

Is that my helmet?

Hi Cruise Companions! :)

I just got back from an out of town cheer competiton for DD. Only 5 more days until WDW and the happiest cruise that ever left the port! :beach:

Welcome back Aaron! Good to hear it went well, can't wait to meet Anna. Tell Kim I said hi! Hope she had fun hanging with the computernut friends.

She enjoyed it Puck. I think she sometimes wonders how I got to know you guys so well. I explained to her that I don't just stare at my computer screen all night for no reason. :lmao:

Yup. :thumbsup2 Painted it yesterday.
Those helmets are awesome guys. Team Beast will be well protected!

It is hard to explain. I have yet to figure out a good way. Lots of people ask me why I'm running a race in Orlando and then who I'm running it with and how I know them. I just say, a buddy I know, and a bunch of people I know are going on a cruise.

Hey Puck, hey Paul! :)

Hi George!

Me!!! I'm soooo excited. The girls are excited too.

And your daughters must be looking forward to it as well.......:)

Finished all my pre-cruise shopping today. Now I just have to pack, clean the house, finish a scrapbook, finish my flatties that aren't working out so well, cater a meal, volunteer at school for about 11 hours, go to a board meeting, soccer practice X4, eye appointment, mow the lawn, do the laundry, clean the house again, get a manicure, go to the salon, and then, I believe I am ready to go on vacation.

Two major events for us while we are on the cruise: DH will find out how his quarter went. This could be good or bad. And, second, the Japanese will decide if they want the American students to make a trip to visit them this summer. James and Madi both are planning on going with the school trip. But, because of the swine flu, Japan is not sure they want them coming. They will decide May 11. They are both quite bummed at this point.

GOOD LUCK!! :thumbsup2

On all 3 accounts...pixiedust:

All of my magnets are done. If I add anymore, I think DH will have a stroke.

If this happens, throw all the magnets on his chest and yell "CLEAR!!"

Got to get ahead on my homework though...since i'll miss week three of class, I'll have to turn that homework in early. The homework that will be due when I get back will have to wait until we get back. The instructor tends to cut the amount of homework due in half so I don't want to work THAT hard in advance...:rotfl: Thankfully we get home on Sunday morning, so that gives me the rest of Sunday and Monday before class to finish it. Plus i'll have to take my midterm when I get back...hoping that midterm isn't as nasty as the last one was...

Need to give myself a manicure and a pedicure Thursday or Friday...

Finish cleaning the house...

I think that's all I have left to do before this cruise!

pixiedust:

Please dear God, don't be in the cabin above mine!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2: :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Thats a triple!

Hold up now! This can't be the final thread we need a place to talk about it after the fact!!!!!

Hi, folks. Just wanted to pop in here one more time before I leave. I've really neglected this thread the past week and I have no idea what's been going on with any of you. (Except for Shelly's Baxter the Bunny. :sad1:) I'm not quite finished packing but most (if not all) of the clothes are packed. Shoes are packed and ready. FE and FE gifts are perfectly packed and The List printed and filed away in The Book. All I have left is toiletries and all the junk like meds, cameras, wipes, binoculars and on and on it goes. My round kitchen table is smothered with it all. Just gotta toss it all in 2-3 carry-on bags and I'm done! We're leaving tomorrow after DD's dentist appointment. Sometime around 2:00. Staying in Brunswick, GA overnight and then it's on to Orlando and Universal Studios at the Hard Rock for 2 nights. We'll checkin at the Swan on Thursday. We'll be at the Poly meet and the Cape May breakfast then we'll drive to the port. (If anyone wants us to take something to the port for them, let me know.) I've decided to take the laptop. I think internet is complimentary at the Swan. See you guys next Saturday!! I'll be the one peeking from behind the shrubbery with 2 Pina Colavas in my hands looking for Nicole. (Uh, no, they're both for me. Sorry, Nicole. :flower3:)

:woohoo::yay::woohoo::yay::woohoo::yay::woohoo:

Howdy Dara,
I've been kind of neglecting this thread too.

As I was going through my list of things to pack one thing that came to mind was a large mug for drink refills on deck 9. I think I remember Kevin and John mentioning that on the cruise primer. The cups Disney supplies are small and you might have to make several trips back and forth to quench your thirst.

I packed the the toiletries and the jewelry tonight. All of the clothes are in one place waiting to go into the suitcases. Haircut and pedicure on Tuesday. I guess tomorrow night is for cutting out the flatties and magnets. Packing the suitcases on Wednesday. I just need to make sure I am out of bed with enough time to check in online Wednesday, for my flight Thursday morning.

Kim
