Hi all. This is my first "started"thread. Long time lurker.
My family joined DVC in the summer and have our first stay in January. I split the stay between SSR (3 night) with developer points and then 5 nights at BWV. We won't have a car so I'm going to have garden grocer deliver some breakfast and snack stuff, I don't plan on cooking actual meals. So my question is, should I do 2 deliveries from the grocer or just pack it up for the move from SSR to BWV??
Thanks in advance!!!:hippie:

The hotel will arrange for your luggage to be transferred and you can just hop on a bus. If you're not talking about huge amounts of food, you could carry it with you on the bus. I wouldn't count on the bell services to transport your groceries since it may take a few hours to move your stuff over and perishables would be at risk. Also, if you have a studio, it's only a small fridge anyway so you might not have enough room to store a weeks worth of stuff.

Personally, I would place 2 orders and say it was $12 well spent. Enjoy your holiday. We're heading out on Friday!

another suggestion:
rent a car for a week, with pick-up/DO at the dolphin (alamo or national). use DME. with codes, you can get a compact for about $100 (we paid $86 total in may)

use the car for the two grocery trips, as well as if a few wish to go outlet shopping, DTD, etc.

we like having one for those unexpected medication needs, too:rolleyes:

The hotel will transport your luggage and groceries for you but it may be easier just to take a taxi. This way you can make sure any perishables get placed in the refrigerator until your new room is ready.
