Hi guys
First time posting on DLRP forum - hellooo! Usually hanging out in UK trip room.

Have just booked DLRP for May half term - ended up going through Thomas Cook and could only get Hotel Cheyenne in the end- we were hoping for Seqouia but it appeasr to be really busy.I originally tried to book it all separate but as I had trouble with getting flights I wantedand booking direct too I went with package - not ideal but at least we will be there for the week!

Anyway, long and short is we needed a Dis fix - although were only in Florida last August - so we're hoping Cheyenne is ok and that DLRP will give us the buzz we need. We were at DLRP many years ago - 1996 I seem to remember but as a couple. Now we will be taking our 4 and 5 year old, who just love WDW and keep on about it since last summer.

Would appreciate all advice/tips and comments from all of you expert DLRP trippers

Manythanks

Hi,
The first experience my kids ever had of Disney was when we stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne over 10 years ago. They loved every minute of it and they were then 7 and 10. They have got a bit older now so when I take my, now 18, year old son in the summer we shall be staying in another hotel as I don't think he'll fit in the bunk beds! It is brilliant for younger kids as they seemed to particularly like being able to come back to the room in the middle of the day and have lots of space outside to run around in.
Hope that helps.

We stayed at the Cheyenne last July. My DD loved it, the space outside is great and so is the playground. She had a fantastic time playing there. They offered horse riding so she had a go and really enjoyed it!

Overall, the hotel is great, we never ate there apart from breakfast, just had quick snack, the breakfast is the same as the other hotels and some of the characters visit the hotel every morning.

Have fun!

We absoluitely love the Cheyenne.
The theme is great, the staff have always been pleasant, you can have Good Morning Fantasyland breakfasts, there are pony rides and i like the rooms.
the shuttle is frequent and direct, and the stop is much nearer than sequoia!
if you have any specific questions, do ask.

We loved the Cheyenne last June, it was great, i think the theming was great for kids, esp ds who was 4. I'd stay there again if i could but DH wants to stay at HNY one day and we've booked into Santa Fe for oiur next trip. But i'd stay at Cheyenne if I could, i loved it there!!
Highly recommended!

Thanks for your comments - getting just a little bit excited!!
