First Disney Trip Where should we stay in Pop?

Hi Everyone! New to the board!! We are taking our first trip to Disney and Staying at Pop Century. We upgraded for the preffered room. Where should I request to stay? TIA!!!!!!!!!!

I'm curious why you feel you need to request anything? Your room will be within 150 feet of Classic Hall (bus, food court, store) and close or reasonably close to a pool.

I would actually cancel the preferred part. Preferred room are right in front of the pool, facing it. I bet they get really noisy. Some are also facing the back with an absolutely awful view.

I say cancel that and request a 50's lakeview room, first floor.

Good point, inkkognito! This is where I pop in with my standard, "no room is more than 750 feet from the center of Classic Hall" (many are a lot closer, the resort is laid out in sort of a um, what's the name of that shape, trapezoid, or freeform oval).
