So we are slightly insane for taking our little guy (8.5mo at time of travel) to Disney during Christmas buuut its our anniversary on the 29th and since dh is a teacher it is really our only option. Regardless we are so excited!

We did Xmas in Disney two years ago after we got married so we kind of know what to expect. Honestly, the crowds really weren't that bad (considering the time of year), everything was completely manageable. We are typically the "9 before noon" type so it is definitely going to be an interesting trip. My parents are going with us (staying op) so we will have some time to hit the big rides. We have our baby bjiorn ready to go to take him on the attractions he can ride! :cool1:

We have 5 day hoppers and will be staying at All Star Sports from 12/28-31. The other days (12/26&27) we will be staying off property. We (I) are considering changing our stay to 12/27-30 (or possibly 12/26-29) instead to take advantage of Friday's MK EMH. I guess I am curious to hear if the 1am-3am EMH would be worth it crowd level wise? Would you do the MK EMH on friday or the HS EMH on monday?

I am looking forward to seeing the characters, something I haven't done (unless we just happened to see a short line) since I was little! Is there any strategy to hitting them all or is it just best to play it by ear?

Should I bother making a day by day plan/strategy and stick to making a check list of all of the rides and attractions we want to see/do?

i did read correctly that we can bring our own food (that doesn't need to be heated) and drinks into the parks, right? (as long as the cooler is the right dimensions of course)

I imagine that we will spend most of our time at AK and Epcot but I definitely want to hit MK and HS. Last time we were there we would open those and then about 10 head to the other parks (and then, depending on travel time and crowd levels, returned to the opposite at night to see the lights), is this still a viable option with a baby in tow or should we plan on staying longer at each park.

I plan on buying a few little things (and puffs, he loves the puffs haha) to break out while we are waiting for parades.

im sure i am missing something big haha.

thanks in advance for any advice!

Regan
