Can anyone tell me what they raffle off and what is required to enter? I know we must be present to win, but was curious to learn more and if it's worth entering.

Thank you!

You gave to be present to win. You gave to go through a long spiel and stand in the gym for the pulling of the raffle and it's usually smaller treatments.

I have suckered into this several times. Not again.

On the Magic this year, I've won $100 off a signature treatment... You only need to fill a small card and be present during the presentation... Not much to do and absolutely nothing to lose as it's on first thing in the cruise... Will do it again in January after getting our Rainforest passes for the week...

We toured the spa on the Fantasy this past January and entered...both my husband and I won something...he won an express shave and I won a massage. But we know we were just lucky, since there were a ton of people there. The tour itself was worth it to us, as it was our first Disney cruise (taking our next one in 3 weeks!). Will tour the spa again this time as we'll be on the Magic, so I'm curious about the differences.:thumbsup2

I have tried every cruise but have yet to win... Can I help it if I am counting down 3...2...1 in my head as I type?;) There is no hard sell at all in my experience. I like touring the area but it was never necessary in order to participate in the raffle. The raffle doesn't take much time and the 'talking' they do is to introduce you to the spa staff and availabilities.

You have to be present to win as others have said.

But... I didn't win anything in the raffle itself, but I want to say the next morning when we got back to the cabin after breakfast, there was a certificate for...I want to say $30 or $45 off a spa treatment on our hanger for me. I don't know if that was because we were concierge or what. I wasn't able to use it as there really wasn't anything I was interested in that fit with our time frame, but it was a nice surprise.

The hard sell comes after the treatment when you're all loosey-goosey -- happened to me after a hot stone Swedish massage...I just wanted to get to dinner but my masseuse kept saying how much I "NEEDED" something that cost away too much that I didn't need (I know that it's their job) but she made me miss Royal Palace :(

I got that last time I entered the raffle..mine was $30 off any mani or pedi. I wasn't concierge, and it was nice, but I didn't use mine either.

On the Fantasy last summer my husband and I did not win anything at the raffle itself, but, also received a certificate at our door for $50 off a massage, we were not concierge.

Cool. Like I said, I didn't know the reason. it was my first DCL cruise, so I had no experience with it, and since no one else mentioned getting the certificate, I didn't know.
