First day planning help

We are scheduled to arrive at MCO at 10:15am on a direct flight. We are taking a limo to the CBR, with a grocery stop along the way (we will fax in our order, so it should be pretty quick I hope).

I've all but given up trying to snag some sort of Fantasmic package for 9/26 or getting dinner reservations anywhere in the 4:00-5:00 time frame. We do have a late lunch at the Hollywood & Vine at 2:20, which is ok.

I'd like to either move that up to an earlier lunch - say 1:00 or 1:30.

Any thoughts on whether we would be able to make it to DHS by 1:00 if we arrive at MCO at 10:15? I don't want to move our lunch up earlier and let the 2:20 go if we are not going to be able to make the earlier time.

I bet you could make it to DHS by 1 PM, or maybe even a little earlier. Keep in mind that your room will probably not be ready after you check-in at the resort, so probably all you will be able to do at CBR anyway is check-in, make any last minute requests, and then do something at the resort or go to a park.

I've read that you can normally count on about a 90-minute trip to your resort after your plane lands, which would put you at 11:45 AM. Add 15-20 minutes for check-in, and you're at 12:05, and then maybe 30 minutes to get to DHS via bus from there, and you're at 12:35.

I don't think I'd personally be comfortable trying to make a lunch reservation at 1pm.
You have to deplane, get your luggage, get to the limo.
Airport->CBR is approx 30 minutes, plus however long for your grocery stop.
Check-in, or at least drop off your luggage with Bell Services.
Wait for a bus and get to DHS.
It seems to me that each step could take 30-45 minutes, and that is too tight for me to consider. I'd eat a snack at the airport and go to lunch at 2:20. YMMV.
