First day of Flower and Garden

Hello everyone!

We will be visiting Epcot on the first day of the Flower and Garden festival. Is everything ready and all the merchandise available on the first day? I know the festival center is only open F-Su. I fell in love with some of the merchandise I saw on the Disney blog and don't want to miss my chance to get it. This will be my one and only park day on this trip. Also, do they sell the F&G merchandise at Disney Springs?

Yes, the merchandise will be available although the kiosks (food) could suffer some glitches until all is up and running smoothly. I don't shop at Disney Springs, so I can't answer the merchandise availability question. I wouldn't count on it being available at DS though and would purchase where and when I see something I could not live without.

I saw F&G merchandise available at Mouse Gear, the Port Of Entry Store, and a few merchandise spots on the walkway between Future World and World Showcase and at the World Showcase entrance plaza towards Canada last year.
