We're arriving early afternoon 4/9 and won't be able to check in to Boardwalk Villas until 4 pm. We want to have lunch somewhere within walking distance. We're thinking of just ordering pizza from the Spoodles window and eating it on the boardwalk. . . has anyone done this? Are there tables? Is the pizza good? From what I understand, Spoodles's pizza window is open for lunch, even tho Spoodles the restaurant isn't.

We could also walk over to Swan/Dolphin or Yacht club - or even hop on a bus - any good places for lunch (outside the parks) y'all recommend?

Thanks!

MY recommendation would be to skip the Spoodles pizza (it's not that great) and head over to Beaches N Cream at the Beach Club instead. It can be a bit crowded there but the burgers are great, the onion rings are great, and the desserts are great. They also serve other sandwiches. You can wait to be seated inside or get it to go and eat at one of the tables outside. The Dolphin Fountain also serves burgers, etc. Neither place will cost you an arm and leg and you won't have to eat a mediocre pizza out of a cardboard box.

Thanks - I think we'll follow your advice. I've already told the kids about the kitchen sinks! Thanks for warning me off that pizza . . .
