My wife, 10 year old daughter and I will arrive at the Wilderness Lodge at around midnight on Thursday night. I have 9:50 am priortity seating reservations of Chef Mickeys on Friday morning the then plan to go to AKL for day. I thought this would be a good park to cover in 6-7 hours. I presently have 8:00 dinner reservations at WCC that night. Am I trying to do too much? Should we eat at Boma's instead? How about dinner at O'Hanas followed by the fireworks?

We really what to save Saturday of MK. Arrive very early, eat lunch at LTT, rest at WL for a couple of hours..followed by dinner at HDDV(9:30 show using DDE card) that night.

sound good as you can take the boat from WL to CM then get a bus there to ak ( thinking you meant the park, not the lodge)...i wouldn't be happy with just 6-7 hrs there but you can see a lot depending on how busy it is.then bus back to WL, with a little down time probably so it sounds great for your first day!

WCC might be nice because you're staying at WL and then you can go straight to your room. If you're looking at a dinner ADR at 8pm, then I don't recommend Ohanas if want to see the fireworks after.. at least not if you want to see the fireworks in MK. We had ADRs for Ohanas at 7pm and we had to race into MK to make it to the hub right as the fireworks started.

Can you see the fireworks from Poly...perhaps on the beach after dinner at O'Hanas

if you can't get a window seat for wishes at 'Ohana, you can move down to the beach and see them. it would be a great start to a WDW vacation.

I think your plans sound great, wouldn't make any changes.

Even with PS Ohana's always has a wait.
