You should be able to walk through without encountering customs. On very rare occasions they do checks at random. But 99.9% of the time you are in Schengen already so no more checks.

Also, the pool at the lodge is closed for refurbishment. You can go to the concierge and they will see if NY or NPB have room at their pool for you to swim. I went to the NY pool today, it was beautiful.

Do you mean the Marvel Hotel pool - this used to be Hotel New York. Or is there a non-Disney Hotel that is NY themed?

It's still called Hotel New York. It's just Marvel themed. Like Sequoia Lodge is Bambi themed.
