First Day Decisions Help.

DH41,Me38, DS4, DS1 are visiting in early December for 7 days. This is my 3rd trip, DH's 2nd trip and first for both DSs. Our flight arrives in the late morning on Tuesday, putting us at CBR probably in the early afternoon. Our room may or may not be ready.

Does anyone have suggestions for visiting the parks/dining on our first afternoon/evening?

My ideal would be to take a nap in the room, have an early dinner, tour a few attractions/rides at a park and then back to the CBR for an early night. The next day I plan on breakfastsaurus and AK. My DS4 loves Donald and animals. DS4 will turn 5 before our visit.

We have a 7 day park hopper with dining. Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.

We also will be landing mid morning but hope to make it out of MCO fairly quickly since it is a mid week arrival. Ditto for check in, but I really don't care if the room is not ready. We'll just check our stuff with bell services.

To me, the trip has not started until I have walked down Main Street to see the Castle (As DS2 says, thats where Cinderumbrella lives!). We are heading to MK, getting some mouse ears and an autograph book, watching the parade and heading over to MGM for an early dinner at Mama Melrose and Fantasmic. We'll hit all the rides starting the next day.

What a great idea! I think Main Street and the Castle would really get us in the whole Magical Mood.

How hard is to go from park to park? Do you have to catch the bus back to your resort and then another bus to another park?

We are not renting a car - taking the magical express from the airport.

depending on how long naps and where u eat dinner, you may not have a lot of time at the parks for anything your first day, the October schedule has the parks closing between 6-8pm(not including EHM), I'm not sure what december is like, just something to think about.
