although this trip was a lot of fun... it was kind of exhausting chasing after a three year old all day... so we are thinking about doing a shorter trip (maybe 4 nights) and only going to mnsshp and magic kingdom for a couple days. Our kids our little.. on the next trip they will be 2 and 4. Im trying to pick which hotel we want to stay at... I am thinking about staying at on the of the mk resorts since that is where we want to go... Maybe wilderness lodge or contemporary. I want something with easy transportation to mk and lots of resort activities. We will be spending a decent amount of time at the resort this trip... any input would be great!!

Thanks

Have you considered the Ft. Wilderness Cabins? There are all kinds of things to do with youngsters there, including pony rides. Plus, you have your own boat to the MK. Even if you don't want to cook, having a kitchen would be handy with little ones as well.

We stayed at WL when DD was 2 and again when she was 3, and it was great place to stay with a kid that age. Everything was in one building and close together and the boat to MK was great. If you don't want to spend the money for a monorail resort, WL is a good choice. The only thing is that the rooms are smaller than the rooms at the Poly or GF, so with 2 kids that might be an issue, but we did it just fine with 1 kid.

I agree with this. Also, there is a deck just outside with a picnic table (at least the last time we were there). It's a perfect set up to spend time outdoors with morning coffee while the kiddos sleep in or where you can "just be" while they are falling asleep.

We'd thought about the cabins too....we may try them next year. We're already planning next years trip and haven't even left yet for 2012's trip LOL
