My DH and I will be going on our first Disney Cruise to Alaska and I have some questions:
1. In regard to Palo, I dined there one time way back in 1999. I recall the food being very similar to the quality as served in the sit down dining areas, and have chosen to bypass this since. However, being alone with DH for the first time, I wanted to do something "adults only" and booked for our upcoming trip. I'm interested to know if recent diners feel Palo is "worth it" in comparison to the general dining areas (wine and food quality). In addition, do you pay separately for wine at Palo or is this covered by the additional reservation fee?
2. Has anyone who has cruised previously gone on the Salmon fishing excursion in Juneau? I read something about how they will prepare your salmon and ship it home for an additional fee, and would like some more information on this excursion (pricing on treatment of fish caught and shipping, whether the charter produces fish, what time of year did you fish, etc).
3. We have a 15 hour wait until our flight heading home takes off from Vancouver. We are interested in sight seeing, however we are not sure what to do with our luggage. Does anyone know if its possible to check bags at the cruise terminal for a few hours after your cruise has ended?
Any info you can provide would be helpful. Thanks
