First airplane trip-nervous 4 yr. old.

My DDs were very comfortable going on an big airplane for the first time as they had experienced flying around in their Papa's little Cessna when they were younger.

My sister's 4 yr. old son, however, is terrified. He loves watching airplanes and going to the airport, but keeps saying that he doesn't want to go up in one. He's going to FL with his dad in March and my sister is looking for some sort of video or book that might help him with this. Any ideas?

I know we have a book somewhere in ds's LIBRARY that has Ernie and Bert flying from NY to CA, and Bert is very nervous. It talks about the flight, etc. I will try to find it later for the title. But I would just go to your library. I bet the librarian would be able to help with suggestions for books about this.

Does he like superheroes? You can talk it up that he'll be like Batman/Buzz/Superman etc.? Maybe that would help a bit. This is a toughie.
