Vicki's (GoofySon'sMom) Agave Margarita :thumbsup2

I'm not sure about posting live. I will most likely be posting to Facebook though. Unfortunately I don't have unlimited text messaging. Most of the people I text have iPhones so I don't need it. Do you happen to have an iPhone?

Yep, Siri and I are good friends! ;)

Vicki (GoofySon'sMom) & family had dinner tonight at Tokyo Dining and guess what delicious cocktail she had???....

Sake-rita (Japanese version of a margarita)
I had to look this one up since I'd never heard of it and so here is the description I found,
Sake-Rita - Sake, Grand Marnier, orange curacao and lime juice

Oh, and Vicki asked me to let Linda know that this was possibly the best margarita so far! :thumbsup2

Now IMHO, I believe that Vicki deserves to be awarded her Masters in Margarita. :thumbsup2 That would most likely be in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, I do believe. :lmao: But of course, it is up to Master Linda to determine the level of knowledge which Vicki has attained in this particular area of cocktail beverages. ;)

Perhaps you mean that august institution, the College of Liberal Pours & Sciences?

I'm home... Sad, yes, but we had a great trip. I plan on starting my report on Monday. I met 3 Disers on this trip and 2 of them on multiple days. It was fun to see disney fans that I have been chatting with online here and meet them in person. I took TONS of food picks (9 days with 4 "adults" on the deluxe dining plan) and many pics of our suite in Finding Nemo at Art of Animation as well as many other pics that may make their way into my report.

Nice one, Quin! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Hey, I go to that school!

Jill in CO

Another nice one! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

It's good to hear that you had a great trip! Welcome back and I will look forward to the start of your report on Monday! :thumbsup2

Oh, and I know at least one of the Disers which you met...twice. ;)

Yay that Tracy and Eilee love Boardwalk! Can't wait to hear more of their impressions of the Epcot Resort Area. :goodvibes

Hi there Barb! I'm getting caught up... I still need to go back about 11 pages to read through everything! But I wanted to let you know that I did quite well with the list of 18 things to accomplish while on my trip! Thanks for the very well thought out items - you do know me so well! I'll give you a proper update soon.

In the mean time... I must read your final dining review and all the other fun stuff.

My Favorite: Narcoossee's Almond-crusted Cheesecake finished with Lambert Cherry Sauce

Conicidently, many of your favorite desserts were ours as well!!! Honestly, I could just read dessert dining reviews such as this and be very happy. :lmao:

Just for that almond crusted cheesecake (and maybe for the filet as well) - I NEED to go to Narcoosees! ::yes::

I too had no idea that HBD had margarita flights. Brenda (emmysmommy) is having dinner there tonight, so I'm anxious to see what she might discover for us there. :thumbsup2

I had to laugh HYSTERICALLY at this comment.... it will all be in context when I get to writing my dining review for HBD. I need to bookmark this since it is so prophetic. :lmao::lmao: For those Disers who know my story (you know who you are! :rotfl2: Shhhhh....)

Sorry I had to jump back in and comment on that one since I can't stop giggling!!

Barb: May I once again commend you for such an awesome job of keeping all the Disers updated and informed. I was sad to see your dining review come to and end but all of your favorites was really a highlight. And it reminded me once again of the places I have yet to try. (Jiko, Narcoosees and even Flying Fish even though it is not in this review.) :)

It was so much fun - and, yes, the sausage was there too! I was disappointed that everyone had dinner plans, though - I could easily have made a night of it. Thanks for all the updates Barb. I am sad to be going home tomorrow but looking forward to getting started in my trippie, we've had an amazing holiday and some fantastic food (although most of it not WDW since we were only here 6 days). Hope some of you will POP over to the UK trip report board and read about our adventures :)

Loved that Linda noticed an empty slushie glass!!!

I will certainly pop over to the UK Board and check in! :) I agree about how we could have made a night of it. I told Barb she was there in spirit - and she certainly was!! :thumbsup2

Barb: I shared your texts with the ladies... so glad that you kept everyone connected. We wouldn't have been able to do this without you connecting Tracy with us. :goodvibes

Uhhh... sorry for hogging your thread! I keep seeing one more post for which I must comment...:mic:

In that case I really don't have an excuse huh?!?! :lmao:

Nope, you don't! ;) I will send you a PM with my phone number when it gets closer to your trip. Then all you have to do is take pics, add a brief description, and hit send...I will take it from there. Very quick and easy and hopefully it will be fun too! Thanks Paula! :thumbsup2

Yes, when last we spoke yesterday, they were trying to decide between 4 different places to have dinner last night. I can't wait to find out which they chose. Plus I think they were still undecided as to whether to have breakfast this morning from the Boardwalk Bakery or at Kouzzina before they fly home. Now that would be a really tough choice! ;)

First, I must say how good it was to wake up this morning and find the name "emmysmommy" posted on my thread! Oh, and the fact that it was there four times, made it 4 times better! ;) It seems like you have been gone from here forever. I am so grateful to have been in touch (or should I say in "text" ;) ) with you during your trip, but it didn't seem quite the same as reading all your great comments/posts here. I guess maybe I should have listed you as emmysmommy instead of Brenda in my phone contacts. :lmao:

And I really, really can't wait to hear about your adventures in completing the items of my list. You really were quite the trooper, so thank you so much for indulging me with this. :goodvibes Oh, and I must award you bonus points on #1 of the list, for the many DIS meets which you had and remembering to also take pictures. Very well done, Brenda! :thumbsup2

Mmmm...can't wait to hear about and see all the yummy desserts you had on your trip! :thumbsup2

Oh, I absolutely can not wait to hear about this one! :p My imagination is running wild just thinking about the possibilities. :lmao:

Thank you for including me (by texts) in your DIS meet. I really wish I could have been there with you all, slurping up (I mean daintily sipping :lmao:) one of those French slushies! But having the privilege of being the first DISer (not in attendance) to see the photos, was for me the next best thing to being there. And yes, I was most definitely there with you in spirit! :goodvibes

Oh, and I'm very happy that I was able to connect you with Tracy. Or as Tracy referred to it, "facilitating" your meeting (it's no surprise that Tracy works in Human Resources ;) ). Anyway, I rather like that description, as it sounds so much more important than saying..."hooking you up". :rotfl:

And of course, feel free to "hog away" anytime the mood strikes! :goodvibes

Great picture :thumbsup2 And, of course they love it, it's an awesome resort!

Sadly, we are home  We left Orlando shortly before 11am on Thursday and arrived at our house just after 11 yesterday (Friday) morning. We all slept for 12 hours last night, we were so tired. I will be starting my trip report very soon - I have uploaded the 1873 pictures I took to my laptop and am in the process of sorting them, ready to upload to Photobucket. Stay tuned....
