First 2 weeks of october..should I be worried?

Hi! Hoping this is in the right place. So my kiddos school has always had fall break the last 2 weeks of September which is awesome for disney trips, lower crowds, great deals. They have now changed the schedule for it to be the first 2 weeks of October which from what I read brings in really big crowds since that is when most schools have a fall break and colmbus day. Does anyone have any thoughts and or expierience about going then?

We are going the 3-15 of October it looks like it will be very busy over Columbus weekend so we are planning to go early in the morning and if the crowds get heavy go back to the hotel or Disney springs.
