FIRM Thread Oct 1-31st

Did someone say CHOCOLATE?!? I have absolutely no willpower during PMS when it comes to chocolate. Fortunately, TOM arrived this morning so I should be back to normal soon. :Pinkbounc

I ran 4.6 miles this morning. I had to work off some of the chocolate I ate last night. :cool1:
 
I'm taking the day off. Just don't feel like it. I'll make up for it tomorrow though!

Yup took today off too, was just getting coffee and paper when DD woke up. Why is it that kids can't sleep late on the weekend yet tomorrow morning I'll be dragging their butts out of bed for school! I think a cardio workout tomorrow to work off some of my pms eating!
 
Good morning everyone. Cathe's high step challenge today. I actually felt like I could hve done another workout. I still do, but I'm feeling twinges of cramps!!! Oh well, I'll get in another good workout tomorrow!

Got in the Stephanie tape from BSS4, well most of it, DD woke up but I got in just about 40 minutes. Another taebo tape comes from netflix tomorrow. I was looking around for good prices on dvd's and was looking at collegevideo, any other good recommendations?
 
IMAX2 for me this morning. Thank goodness all the chocolate is gone and I no longer have cravings.
 
I did have the ultimate bootcamp tape this am. I was working the first seminar at my new job and really nervous so I wanted to make sure I was in the office early. It all went very well.

I slept late today so got nothing in plus DD woke up, it's nuts with this new job I hardly eat at work so I swear I've lost weight. Not the smartest way to go about it.

For me--eh, things honestly are in total disarray. No one can figure out what is wrong with me; last Saturday my mom had a heart attack (on her birthday, nonethless) and is still in ICU with kidney failure; and yesterday my dh was diagnosed with skin cancer (we're hoping only localized, he has to have some lymph nodes tested). So, to say that this has been a pretty miserable week is quite an understatement. I'm just trying to keep my head up, and realize that as yucky as things are here, some people still have it much, much worse. Things will get better. :shamrock:

I'm glad to see you're all still working out and doing so well! I'm walking in the mornings (just the most beautiful autumn weather), but I'm on diuretrics and can't be very far from home because I'm peeing all the time (had to mention my pee for s&k'smom! ;) ). My weight has gone up around five pounds, but my clothes aren't really tight yet, and at this point I'm not stressing over it. And honestly, does it really matter that I weigh 132 pounds and not 127? No, it doesn't, so I'm not giving a flyin' flip. :)

Today was another unexpected rest day, kids were up, fell back to sleep but this is not unusual for my kids to have funny sleeping during a seasonal or the upcoming time change. Things should be back to normal soon. So what I did was do things I had been putting off so at least it wasn't a waste of time.
 
Well this am I'm just to whiney to workout. I am just sitting here enjoying the peace and quiet, drinking too much coffee and dissing. But my eating has been good. I've been so overwhelmed with work that just being quiet is a treat. OK I know I'm whining but I'm PMSing, and have no chocolate in the house! :goodvibes
 
Yesterday I did Step Blast. Today is a much needed rest day.
