Fireworks!

We were on the May 8 Wonder. They debuted/did a practice run of a fireworks display after leaving Nassau at about 10pm. It was fabulous and they played music to it (Little Mermaid). Even all the officers came up on deck in their dress whites to see the show! It was about 10 mins long

They said the next time they will do it will be on the Magic on July 4th.

That sounds so cool. I wish they were going to do it on Memorial Day -- that's during our Western cruise. Oh, well, maybe another time...

Shoot! We'll miss the fireworks. I wish they hadn't stopped them on a regular basis. Oh well.

Oh my gosh! I would have loved that!! I'm a bit of a "Little Mermaid" nut....... I bet it was beautiful.......sigh........

They used to!

On our first cruise ( a 3 day) they did fireworks on Nassau night. I heard they had to stop doing it due to some kind of safety thing. Cool to hear they are experimenting with doing this again.

I had read somewhere that when both ships were sailing the Bahamas, on the Fourth of July the Magic and Wonder would come together and both ships would shoot off fireworks. Now THAT would be a sight!!!
