What are the best hotels to see the fireworks from and what room would you have to ask for when booking if you wanted to see from your hotel room . Thanks to everyone for your help

Which fireworks? If you are talking about Wishes in the MK, then any of the monorail resorts would be good. You would need to book a theme park view room to watch it from your balcony, but you can watch them from various locations at these three resorts.

From the Gf and Poly, you are looking across the lake to the castle, so the fireworks are more distant but beautiful.

From the Poly you have the most straight on direct view, so that the fireworks are lined up properly to rise behind and above the castle. Many people like this view the best for watching the fireworks from your resort room.

From the CR and the GF your view of the fireworks is off to the side of the castle.

From the CR tower TPV rooms, you have the closest view from your rooms. This is my personal favourite view of the fireworks anywhere in WDW. If you book CL, TPV in the CR tower I expect that you would be thrilled with the view!

I feel a need to point out that these rooms are among the most expensive in WDW. Watching Wishes from the Poly beach while staying in a standard view room is almost as nice and does save some $$$. But the magic of watching Wishes with our grandchildren from our CR tower TPV room is my most cherished Disney memory of all my dozens of magical visits. Priceless!

How is the view from ft wilderness?

Limited. It's blocked by Discovery Island.

I mean, the long and short of it is that resorts with clear Wishes views are the most expensive at WDW. The rooms with the clear Wishes views are the most expensive rooms of those expensive resorts.
