Fireworks timing at MK

If MK stays open until 10 p.m., are the fireworks timed to end then?

No. The fireworks almost always start an hour or more before park close.

It's not a set thing, one way or the other.
Sometimes the fireworks "close" MK, sometimes not.
You just have to check the calendar to make sure of the time.

Just went to historic hours as an example.

JAN 2012

Jan. 5, 2012 - MK Hours 9:00AM -10:00PM =Wishes 9:00PM

Jan. 8 thru 12, 2012 - MK Hours 9:00AM -8:00PM =Wishes 8:00PM

And, it can vary up to every day (or group of days.)

Weeeeeelll... you have a LOT of dates where the fireworks start exactly when the park closes. These last few weeks have been quite a few 10pm close, 10pm Wishes. It's the same with Fantasmic- 830pm and 10pm fantasmics with 10pm park close, or even 1030pm Fantasmic with 10pm park close. It varies.

Robo has already corrected me, but I will maintain that the majority of dates this does not happen. And if I want to take a strict interpretation of the OP's question, I would say that Wishes is never timed to end at park close.
