My sister is taking her 13 year old son for one day only and just to Disneyland (not DCA). I want to give her some good tips for where to view the Halloween Screams fireworks show and how early she'd have to get there.

Keep in mind, they just have the one day there so they're not going to want to kill two hours sitting just to "get a good spot". Maybe standing somewhere on Main Street would be good advice? Any details I can give her will be greatly appreciated!! :lovestruc

Oh, one other thing... will they be able to ride any rides (even if it's just one) after the show? The show starts at 8:40p and the park closes at 9p that night.

I don't know about crowd levels, but I would assume that they aren't going to be very large on Monday night. While the hub is the best place to watch the fireworks, it does get crowded. Main Street is a possible option. Also, the plaza by It's A Small world has a great view. The only downside is that you can't see the stuff by the castle.

And they will not be able to ride rides after the fireworks, but the Main Street shops will remain open until 10 most likely.
