Fireworks question - after thanksgiving

I keep conflicting posts, please tell me that there will be fireworks nightly M-T the week after Thanksgiving. I know the parks will close early at 8, but I sure hope there will be fireworks. Otherwise I might have to change my dates. Thanks!

Mostly after Thanksgiving week (Nov. 29 - Dec. 2 this year) DL doesn't have Believe...In Holiday Magic fireworks running on the first weekdays of December. You can look at DL December schedule 2009. Last year DL closed at 9pm. They will have the fireworks on the weekdays of the 2nd week of December.

I posted the wrong answer and DL does run "Believe...In Holiday Magic" and the parades during the Holiday season. The only thing that will cancel the fireworks is a rainy day or high winds.

I'm sorry to make you worry so much for no fireworks and the parade. I just looked at one of the old calender schedules that I have and DL should run at least one parade and Believe fireworks on the first weekdays of December. I looked at the 2007 schedule from laughingplace.com and it showed Believe and Christmas Fantasy running on the first weekdays of December.

Once the Holiday season starts (Nov. 12 this year) FIREWORKS AND PARADES ARE DAILY!!! On nights they close at 8 pm, they usually show fireworks right at closing. Heck, even on CM party nights when they close at 6 they still showed fireworks.

If you look at the link above closely is says RDCT is not showing but "Believe....in Holiday Magic" (aka Xmas fireworks) are.

I do feel kind of bad for giving misinformation to kailuagirl. Thx for clarifying this thread.

I remember last year when I was about to go to DL during the 2nd week of December and saw that "Believe...In Holiday Magic" was running all during the Holiday season. That was good for the guests who were traveling to DL in mid November to early January.

Thanks everyone! And don't worry mvf, I totally understand, it's just so fustrating that we don't really know for sure things on the schedule. We are planning to book at package at GCH and I don't wanna have to pay the cancel fee if needed. So it's so hard to confirm things without all the worry DH reminded me we could change our plans around, we are going to vegas 1st, then DL, so that's still an option if there is no fireworks and parades, I just didn't wanna deal with the Thanksgiving crowds.

We always go the week after Thanksgiving.....and the fireworks are wonderful! One tip....try and see them the first night you are in the park. That way, if they are cancelled because of wind/weather, you can try for the next night. One trip during the past 5 or 6 years, we rode pirates during the fireworks on our first night in DL. And they were cancelled the next 2 nights so we never saw them. Sigh. At least they still played White Christmas and made it snow. Have a wonderful time!
