I read somewhere that a lot of nights in November the parks close at 6. Is that true? I read that epcot usually is open until 9?!? So maybe it will be our "after hours" park.

But, if they really do close that early, do they do fireworks and all that jazz? the parades and fireworks are on my most excited about list. I would hate to think that we are going to miss them all? That couldnt happen could it?

During "non peak" times at MK there is no Wishes fireworks on nights they close earlier.More than likely you'll catch them on a weekend night at the MK.MGM doesn't seem to have the fireworks show anymore but they do show Fantasmic most nights.

Here's a great link to info we have on the DIS about parades and fireworks...you can even view video of them! Try it out!

We are going feb. 9th, this is non peak, right? The calendar says the park will close at 6 I think maybe 7. The fireworks calendar says that they will have wishes that night. So what gives?

Since Wishes is new, they have been showing it more often. In the winter months it gets dark early, so they can show it even with a 7:00pm closing.

Normally during the 'off-season,' they would only have the MK fireworks on the weekends, and would close pretty early (6-7 pm) on weekdays. But, this year their goal is to show Wishes every night there is not a hard-ticket event. So, the positive result of that decision is that the MK will have to stay open later in the spring and fall (8-9 pm) in order for it to be dark enough. Enjoy!
