Fireworks Magic Available?

Hopefully this has been posted in the right section..

I've just been offered a trade - my Fireworks Magic (1*) for Shark Magic (1*).
I haven't been on VMK for ages (over 8 months) and before I make the trade, I would like to now if is Fireworks still available.

Any advice on the trade itself is greatly appreciated as well. Thank you

Fireworks Magic hasn't been available, except through trade, since January '07. They are trading for anywhere between 4000 and 15000 credits (wide range, I know).

Fireworks magic is no longer available except through trades. It was retired a while back when VMK introduced the new fireworks game.

Well, that's a different question. As someone who was never able to earn a fireworks magic pin, the only ones I own were gifts or acquired in trade deals. As GoofyGeggy has said up ^ a few posts, they have a very wide "value" depending upon who you ask.

If you have lots of them and won't miss 1, then I would trade 1 for a shark magic. However, if you do not have a lot of them, if could be easier for you to trade for the shark magic (given its current accessibility) than to trade to replace your fireworks magic.

It sort of comes down to, how many do you have and do you enjoy trading and haggling if you need/want to get it back.

For me, someone who does NOT have extra fireworks magic and finds trading for shopping sprees easy, I would rather trade something else for a current buyable than trade a currently non-replaceable pin that I have in very limited amount.

This is a little off topic, but getting fireworks magic from the old fireworks game was the thing that got my VMK trading booted up.
