Fireworks? Just wanting to confirm they don't have them each night

I know in the FAQ it mentions nothing regularly occurring but I was wondering if they were doing something given the opening of WWoHP?

Reason I'm asking is that every night about 10pm we hear booms of fireworks (just moved to about 15 min. north of Disney) and I didn't think the sound would be quite so loud from this distance but I'm guessing it is from Disney. :confused3 Universal is closer (as that old crow flies)

A neighbor mentioned the fireworks can actually be seen if we walk to the end of one of the streets (haven't tried that yet) That would be awesome!

Oh well...just curious....

There is nothing currently at US as a night show. July 4th, I think, starts the regular nighttime show.

Given the fact that between 3 Disney parks, enough explosives are detonated each night to take out a small country, I'm sure that's what you're hearing!

Plus that sound really travels. Even at my house, we hear the fireworks from the baseball stadium that is about 10 miles away.

Yeah...I hear the booms at night too but I can't see anything.

They are loud alright. We were watching a movie inside the other night and I thought I heard thunder from an approaching storm. It was from the fireworks.

Summer Nighttastic is a bit more intense than Wishes so that's part of it, I reckon.

Be interesting to see how much can actually be seen from that spot my neighbor mentioned...that will have to wait for next week, though.
