Fireworks is most likely out of the question today...

I don't understand why so many people are frustrated with fireworks on the double credits days (or in general). The point isn't always to win is it? Who cares what level you get booted on? You still get double credits for whatever score you get. And why leave if you didn't get a certain score? You only lose the credits you've already earned and waste the time you spent playing. I always try my best and don't care if I make it to the last round or come in first. Double credits are double credits, whether your 1st place after 5 rounds or 17th after 1 round. I hadn't played the remix version when it came out. But when I saw the double credits days, I thought I'd give it a try. At first, I couldn't figure out how some ppl where scoring so high. I soon realized the key is to hit flawless and only flawless. Even if that means letting some go. I don't pay much attention to the combos until rounds 4 and 5. Now I consistently score between 5500 and 6500 and hope to break 7000 someday soon. A little practice goes a long way and try to have some fun! :dance3:

I think the fun days were made because the pirates game has become so popular since VMK starting giving out the keys. Sometimes you have to wait in line just to get into a pirate lobby. I think VMK is trying to make people spread out throughout the different games. Doesn't seem to happen much with ghosts or fireworks. Sometimes, it can be frustrating trying to get a game of ghosts started and having to change lobbies several times to get enough people to play. Many people are frustrated with fireworks. When the game changed, the green car quest task needed 4,500 to pass. The next day, the task had gone up to 5,500. Someone said fireworks was difficult this week for fun day and that they ended up not getting a single credit even though they are a top player. Ghosts was extremely difficult to get into a game this week for fun day too. The games were full all the time, so difficult to get started and then if game started, you could still get all kicked back to lobby. Seems that Fun Day is causing a lot of frustration!

I totally understand how you feel, however "fireworks experts" didn't get there for free. I myself consider myself decent at the game, my best score is well over 6,000, but this is also after playing OVER 400 games of the old fireworks, and about 50 of thos one. I was only able to get 272,000 point in the old fireworks, and please don't take this wrong. I myself feel extremely bad on someone who had a close score to me, but didn't quite make it through, because I know how many times this has happened to me.

My only suggestions would be to practice a LOT and read over stichers' guide as many times as possible. At the mean time, I wouldn't suggest doing much on the "fun days".

Where would I find stichers' guide?

I am not good at all but double credits is double credits. If I get booted out on round one that just means I can start my next game a little quicker.

Last night my 4 year old asked if she could play fireworks. I gave her the mouse and I did the arrows. She actually bet people. I assumed we would be last everytime but not the case.
