Fireworks in Nov

We'll be there at the same time, I sure hope they'll have fireworks at least on the weekend. Sounds like they're really slow getting entertainment on the schedule.

They will have them Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 9:30pm, weather permitting.
Where did you get this info? I can't see anything on the website about times. I know the Christmas FW are supposed to start on Nov 12 and be for weekends only but I haven't seen them on the calendars.

The fireworks are almost always at 9:30 when the park closes at midnight. It's something that has been consistent for years. I can hear them from my house. Plus, my son hates them so whenever we are in the parks, we have to time our exit to make sure we are back at the car before they start at 9:30.

Gotchya! I was just curious as I've searched a few times, including today, to find official schedules of all things Christmas since I am heading there next week and thought I was missing something. I am an overplanner lol

Disneyland is terrible about publishing the fireworks schedule very far ahead of time. Sometimes you have to wait until the day of to get an accurate listing for entertainment offerings.

Does anyone remember from previous years if there is any entertainment on non-fireworks nights? I seem to remember maybe a castle lighting followed by the fake snow? I was planning on going on Tues/Wed Nov 30th/Dec 1st, and trying to decide if it's worth shifting forward one day so we check into our hotel on Sunday instead of Monday just to see the fireworks from the hotel....

I don't recall, but they do have the Small World lighting ceremony every day right around sunset. I think that might be it on non fireworks nights, although the parade will happen twice daily, so there will be that. The second parade is after dark, usually around 5 or 6 pm.

They will also do the castle lighting, but I don't remember if the snow falls.

On nights that fireworks get cancelled due to wind, they did a castle lighting with fake snow at the end. I've only seen it on Main Street and in front of the castle so I don't know if there's anything at Small World or the Rivers of America.

I *think* the same thing happened in previous years when they didn't plan for fireworks during the Christmas season but I'm not 100% confident on my memory on this one.

There's still the Christmas tree lighting (both parks have one) which I think was in the official schedules pre-pandemic. This is very short and not something most guests would think is worth going out of their way to see.

I think Small World plaza also does a short projection show and snow when the fireworks are cancelled due to weather.

Interesting they are moving to 9:30?! They had them at 9:00pm when we were there last week. I always remember them being at like 9:25pm in years past, so that 9:00pm was a change.

What time did the park close? 11?

Weekend hours go back to midnight closings starting Nov 12.

Fireworks were at 9:30 all summer with midnight closings.

They have updated the entertainment schedule for Disneyland November 12-20. Interestingly they are showing fireworks every night (at 9pm) except for during the Merriest Nights event. Here is a link to Wednesday the 17th for reference. I hope this is right and that fireworks will continue to be on weeknights too.

This seems odd. I don't know what to make of it other than the standard "things are different now." Kinda not happy about 9pm fireworks. Makes our day even shorter since we have to bail out before they start.
