Fireworks has changed!

How tricky! I just figured out the old way and now I have to learn it all over again!!!!

Okay, OMG! I just played, and wow! Same format, just changed which fireworks are in each place. I didn't too badly, 235,000 for me, and I won the game I was hoping that they changed winning the pin too! lol Oh well!

Holy moley - they did change it. Grrr!

I definitely noticed it on levels 2-3, 3-2, 4-3 and the first two stages of level 5. This will take some getting used to, for sure!

Wow

It actually was not as bad as I thought it would be. Yes, my score dropped 10,000 points, but there were a few arrangements where my mind drifted and I was not paying to the patterns.

The good news: It seems like they kept most of the same patterns, and just switched out the types of fireworks. Luckily, the order the fireworks show stays the same (appearing on bottom of screen).

The bad news: You really have to get used to the different fireworks changing. The order that they appear (shows on bottom of screen) may be the same, but they do show (appear at bottom of screen) during earlier levels now.

And come to think of it, I think they began some of these changes last night. I could have sworn I noticed some of the new arrangements while playing a late-night game.

Let them know the link doesn't work and they'll replace the message in your mail box. I tried clicking on the new message before I actually started the game and was able to get it to work. I got a coupon for a glow in the dark VMK bracelet to be redeemed at one of the parks before 9/06. Also a free 14 days on Disney subscription on-line site with games for kids - can't remember name - Blast or Toon or something like that.

I just played fireworks, and I like the new way. It seems easier to me.


Of course, I never truly memorized the last way, and have never scored above 225,000. First try on new arrangement and score just over 219,000. So it didn't hurt my game much. I would have scored higher, but the dog was chewing on something, and I had to get her to stop while trying to play at the same time. Going to try again in a little while. I have carpel tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome in my right arm. I can't play fireworks too often cause it hurts.

I never played before this weekend, so I guess I don;t know what I missed. I have no idea how anyone gets 250,000--of course, I have no eye-hand coordination, so that might be it...

Well I finally played this revised fireworks and surprisingly, I got 257,000. The part I screwed up were the first two levels which hadn't changed! I was all nervous and anticipating the changes that I messed up on the parts that weren't even different. HA! But that's ok, I'll just keep playing for credits and leave the high scores to the masters.

They have definitely put a randomizer in it. The first three levels had three different patterns. Fireworks still appear about where they did before but the symbols are different each time. I think, overall, it is a good thing because that should level the playing field quite a bit since you can't really determine which pattern is going to be used. Keep in mind the different symbols have different "life" spans so if you are accustomed to a rythym where you might "lag" for a longer lived symbol, that can really mess you up when one of the short ones turns up in pattern; which I discovered the hard way on the second game I played and missed five in a row that I used to get with ease before.

So I played this a couple more times and each game was different! And once again, I scored better than average and I think it's because they are putting different colors in place of ones that were harder to hit before. Either way, I think this makes the game much more exciting, because it's not all memorization now! (I know, I know, the people who haven't won the fireworks pin yet are shaking their fists at me!)
