I know there is a viewing lounge that can get pretty crowded, but is there anywhere else that offers a nice fireworks view from the Contemporary? If not, how early should we get to the CR for a 8pm Wishes? We have an 8:30 ADR at Chef Mickeys on our first night and will be walking over from the MK, so we don't want to watch Wishes in the park and then have to deal with the masses as we try to get to the CR for dinner.

I understand there's a public viewing area on the 4th of the CR. I'm sorry, I don't know if it gets particularly crowded, so I can't suggest what time to get there. I imagine that if you showed up at 7:30, you'd be okay.

first of all it is not a lounge. It is outside - it has a few seats - very few. So I would go early to get a seat.

there are some places inside Chef mickey's where you can see the fireworks.

just ask for a table with a view of the castle and see what you are told - there are only 2 or 3 or them.

when are you going for wishes to be at 8pm - that is early?

Another location that could be good for watching the fireworks is from the main entrance to the Contemporary or by the bus station. A few times when my family and I have returned during Wishes we saw them from there and had a perefct view. Plus it was less crowded then it would be on the 4th floor observation deck, so you would have a clear view of them.
