Fireworks from DCA

My trip is planned for 9/10-9/13. From what I understand starting in September fireworks will only be on the weekends. The only weekend date we will be there will be at DCA. Can the fireworks form DL be seen clearly at DCA or should we just exit the park and watch them the esplanade? Thanks again!

For the most part, views of fireworks in DCA are limited and you're probably better off to head out to the esplanade (and you'll see lots of folks watching from out there).

You can get glimpses from inside DCA but Esplanade is the best view.

We were actually surprised that we could see the fireworks from Carsland. We were standing right in front of Flo's. Not as good a view as the esplanade, probably, but we had fun watching them from there.

Carsland is a fun place to see the fireworks in my opinion.

I was able to watch them last week in a spot between Grizzly River Run and Soarin’. There were a couple dozen other people watching from there, too.

I have fond memories of watching them from Heimlichs Choochoo train with my niece. Sadly that's no longer an option, we loved that ride.

We watched them from the board walk near Incredicoaster and it was great!
