My kids are old enough this trip to take to California Grill. I want us to experience the fireworks from there. Any idea what time to reserve in January if we want to watch from the restaurant?

It looks like Wishes is at 8PM every night in January, so I'd make them for around 7PM. Your waiter will work your meal around the fireworks if he needs to..CG is our favorite place for dinner. Have fun!!! :goodvibes

If you want a table by the window, you have to request that at the podium and there are no guarantees. They usually allow people to view the fireworks from the observation deck as well, but that may be a little cold especially in January.

Last time I was there and it was cold, they did let us view from one of the rooms on the side. However, that room may also be in use when you go.

If you really want a table by the window, I'd maybe schedule something for 6:30PM - 7:00PM and put in the request as soon as you get there.

We were there mid to late January last year and made a reservation for 715p. That time worked out perfect for viewing the fireworks which were at 8p.

Are ressies at 740pm too late for viewing wishes?

If you're going on a night when they are scheduled for 8pm - with that reservation time you may not even be seated yet, but that's just based on my experience - I went during a moderately busy time and people were waiting for their tables for a little while. However, as long as you're checked in you should be able to go to the oberservation deck to see the fireworks; make sure they know you'll be out there in case your table becomes ready while you're viewing them.

:thumbsup2 Cool, Thanks!

can't get a good time to be seated while the fireworks are displayed, and at this time that may true, if you eat at CG before the fireworks you can return to see them. Just keep your receipt to show the people at the elevator.
